The total amount of waste tires produced in my country each year has been among the highest in the world for many years. According to data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in 2019, about 330 million scrap tires were generated, of which about 290 million scrap car tires, accounting for 88%. The number of waste tires produced in my country will continue to grow and is increasing at an annual rate of 8% to 10%.
Waste tires are called "black pollution". The accumulation of a large number of waste tires not only takes up land but also seriously damages the environment. Due to the uncertainty of the time required for tire decomposition, waste tires are not biodegradable, and their components include elements such as lead, chromium, cadmium, and other heavy metals. Improper disposal and management will threaten human health and the environment. Waste tires stacked in the open for a long time not only occupy a large number of land resources, but also easily breed mosquitoes to spread diseases, severely deteriorate the natural environment, and pose a fire hazard. Therefore, how to dispose of the rapidly increasing number of waste tires has become an urgent environmental problem and the development of supporting industries.
Waste tires can be processed by Waste Tire Recycling Machinein a variety of ways, such as prototype utilization, old tire retreading, recycling, auxiliary fuel, and thermal cracking and power generation technology processing:
Recycling
Waste tires can be crushed into rubber powder by tyre crushing machine, which is widely used in highways, airstrips, flame-retardant materials, rubber and plastic bottoms, waterproof materials, sports tracks, and other fields. Rubber powder can also be produced after desulfurization and used to make rubber products such as hoses and tapes.
