Thickness and Material of Shredder Blade
The thickness of the shredder blade is determined by the material it breaks.
The harder the material of the cutters, the less likely it is to break and the thicker the blade selected.
1. The blades with 10mm or 20mm thickness are suitable for fragile materials such as medical packaging or electronic board.
2. The blade with 40mm or 50mm thickness are suitable for normal products such as plastic barrels, tires, wood pallets etc.
3. The blades with 80mm thickness are used for shredding the thicker plastic or plastic&metal compound such as refrigerators or drums, cons and other metallic products with less 10mm thickness.
According to the number of claws of the shredder blade, it can be divided into Single-Hook Blade、Two-Hook Blade、Five-Hook Blade、Six-Hook Blade、Nine-Hook Blade，etc.

Single-hook Blade: Single-hook blade configuration is the most ordinary blade choice. it has powerful structure and can be used in a wide range of application.
Two-Hook or Multi-hook Blade: Two-hook or multi-hook blade configuration is used primarily for shredding easy material.It is more efficient when doing light shredding application.
